Dorothea (Dola) Gould, née Guttmann, was born on April 27, 1922 in Tilsit (today Sovetsk in Russia) to Abraham Guttmann (10/24/1874 in Schillehnen – 3/26/1963 in Montreal) and Feige Taube Guttmann, née Berlowitz, (1/4/1879 - 7/23/1967). Dola had four brothers (Noah; Helmut (Koffel); Steven (Sally); and Heinz) and a sister, Gertrud. - Heinz Guttmann emigrated to Rhodesia and then to England.
